2012 News & Events

Celebration of the 20th Anniversary

The Pierre Bittar Gallery is proud and honored to announce its 20th anniversary in 2012. This event wouldn't have been possible without your contribution and love of Pierre's art. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Pierre's collectors and express to them our gratitude by announcing a special purchasing opportunity of a 20% savings on all original oil paintings as well as lithographs during 2012.

The Life of Our Lord Through Pierre Bittar Paintings

This is an exceptional mission that God granted to Pierre after listening to his prayers and Pierre has spent the entire 2011 working on these paintings. Now with God’s help and guidance he has accomplished this mission. All 14 paintings with their corresponding biblical verses are now published at www.pierrebittar.com under Biblical Paintings as well as a Video interview of Pierre in his studio painting and an animated Radio interview in which Pierre explains his work. Pierre has just finishing writing a book explaining in detail this extraordinary event. This book also summarizes his relationship with Jesus since he was 11 and all the miracles and blessings he has received. The book illustrates in colors all these paintings with their corresponding verses from the bible. This book of approximately 170 pages will be available at the opening of the PIERRE BITTAR MUSEUM and will be entitled: THE LIFE OF OUR LORD Painted and Presented by Pierre Bittar.

The Pierre Bittar Museum

This Museum is scheduled to be opened to the public during the spring of 2012. It will permanently occupy the first level (the street level) of the gallery and will contain all of the Life of Our Lord paintings. The paintings will be nicely displayed in sequence, starting with the Annunciation, followed by the Birth of Jesus and so on till the last painting of His life which is the Ascension of Jesus Christ. The Museum will contain as well the original oil paintings of Pierre's private collection since 1956.

Giclees

Giclee is a printing technology which allows for reproduction of original oil painting on canvas. Although it uses ink, the ink spray results are quite satisfactory. Pierre doesn’t allow the use of giclees for his original paintings that he sells out of respect for collectors who possess the original. But for all of his paintings displayed in the Museum, due to the fact they are not for sale, he gives the opportunity to those who are interested in having a giclee print to order one in the size they desire or as shown in this year’s Christmas card, a detail can be selected for the giclee and also ordered in any desired size.

We hope to see you next year in the new Pierre Bittar Museum and the Gallery as well.

Have a Wonderful Christmas & a Joyful 2012.
God Bless You All

Pierre Bittar Museum

Pierre Bittar - Biblical PaintingsThe Pierre Bittar Gallery will soon feature on its first level a museum of Pierre’s private collection paintings, which will include the Life of Our Lord from the Annunciation to Ascension in large 7' X 5' paintings. For more information please see the Biblical Paintings section of this website. These private paintings will not be for sale, but rather will be donated in the future to an interested large museum, according to Pierre's will. The Pierre Bittar Museum will be graciously open to the public during gallery hours. For those who are interested in one or more of the paintings, be they churches, museums, or private collectors, we will use the modern printing technique, giclée, and the result will be very close to original oil paintings. This method will allow for the selection of both size and image desired.

The Pierre Bittar Gallery

The second level of the Gallery will continue to display exclusively the impressionist landscapes of Pierre’s from France, Italy Northern Michigan and Naples,FL. The second level can contain about 50 original oil paintings. To compensate for the hanging space taken by the museum on the first level, the Gallery manager will be happy, according to your requests of size, subject, locations, prices, etc, to show you on our computer screen a slide show of your requests. Paintings that are of interest can then be brought to you in a moment. A color photo of the painting selected can be printed at your request if further study is desired at home.
