We spend our lives seeking guidance on how can we be saved. We hear that hell is real which increases our worries and sows fear in our minds. Many people are confused by the multiplication of religions that contradict each others.
The efforts and sacrifices that are required of us to be saved are so numerous and complicated that by despair people find themselves forced to give up all beliefs and let themselves go virtually without any religion.
To this we can add apostasy, pedophilia and love of money that is manifested more and more in places of worship by some of their leaders. It is clear that this confusion is the product of Satan and his evil spirits who, at this end of time, are worried because they will be soon cast into the lake of fire as it is written in Revelation 20:10 "The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Our merciful God who is aware of our difficulties and understand our concerns made it very simple for us. Anyone who wants to be saved has solely to LOVE JESUS who gave up His life to save us.
This is written in Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
If our faith drives us to love Jesus unconditionally then we are unconditionally saved by God’s grace regardless all the sins we committed.
In other words we must love Jesus to deserve Heaven. It is not enough to believe that Jesus exists. Satan believes that Jesus exists although he never loved Jesus, he is rather the devil, the enemy and opponent of Jesus.
To love Jesus is to be spiritually attracted to Him with all our heart and to think about Him all the time. To love Jesus is to always feel His presence without seeing Him. We speak with Him with our mind and we hear His voice with our soul and spirit. When we love Jesus we have no more fear, we feel secured and confident.
When we love Jesus you hate sin, we will feel joy when talking about Him. We want to share our love for Him with every body and in all circumstances. We enjoy life to serve Him and will accept death just to be with Him. To be in heaven is to be where we belong and live eternity with our celestial Father surrounded by our heavenly brothers and sisters.
As we can read in Philippians 3:20 "But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Yes, we are citizens of heaven and we will soon be Raptured and taken by our Lord Jesus to live with Him in His heavenly Kingdom. We should rejoice in advanced because we will meet the souls and spirits of all the saints and the believers who lived and died since the creation of our mankind 6,000 years ago.
These souls and spirits are not yet in heaven. Read, John 3:13 "No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.” These souls are rather in Paradise where Abraham’s spirit is. They are waiting for Jesus’ coming in the cloud to Rapture them with us before taking all of us to Heaven. Paradise is a waiting place between Heaven and earth for spirits who are destined to be in Heaven.
Why should we love Jesus the Lord.
Many convincing reasons compel us to love and worship Jesus our Lord:
- He is our God, He created us with a great love. He shapes us one by one at His own image and likeness to become His own family and share His unlimited Love in His heavenly Kingdom.
- He became man and as it is written in Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
- God’s nature is love. He is LOVE and consequently needs to continuously receive love
in return. Nothing can separate us from God’s love as we can read in Romans 8:38-3 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
- His first commandment for us is to love Him as written in Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
CONCLUSION
All what God is asking us is to love Jesus. Think about it:
Does loving our Lord and Creator
who tenderly shaped us in His own image and likeness,
who knows our deepest secrets,
is too much to ask?
Is it too much to love
the One who shed His blood to redeem us from sins,
Our God who honored us to become His Family,
Who invited us to live eternity in His Heavenly kingdom?
Is it permissible not to love
the One Who accepted to be crucified for our salvation,
the One Who Is our Celestial Father?
It is written in 1 John 4:16 "...God is love,
and he who abides in love abides in God,
and God in him."
